How I Learned to Use AI So Effectively — My Journey

Many people ask me how I became so good at using AI.

Today, I want to share one important thing — there is no age limit for gaining knowledge.

I started my journey when ChatGPT had just been released to the public. From that moment, I began using it to learn and explore new things. Later, Google introduced Bard, but honestly, it wasn’t as effective at that time. Now, AI has become incredibly powerful and capable.

One thing I strongly feel is that in India, the adoption of AI among teachers is still very low. Many of them believe that AI will take away their jobs. But they don’t realize that by using AI, they can enhance their own knowledge and teach students in much better ways.

Every student has a different learning style. For example, I personally don’t understand long lectures very well. I prefer learning through storytelling or real-world examples in my own language. That’s why I use different AI tools for different purposes.

I use Gemini for learning concepts, while ChatGPT helps me in writing posts. ChatGPT sometimes breaks complex topics into smaller parts instead of explaining everything deeply at once, which is useful in its own way.

I have also explored tools like Manus AI (now acquired by Meta), Indus — an Indian LLM developed by Sarvam AI, Claude, Gemini CLI, Grok, Qwen, and Kimi. Gemini CLI is especially powerful for coding. I use it to write code, while I use the Gemini app to understand concepts.

I have also explored various image generation models, which helped me understand how AI can create visuals, designs, and creative content. This opened a completely new perspective for me in content creation.

I don’t compare myself with others. What matters to me is how much I am learning every single day. Growth is personal.

I strongly believe that failure is the path to success.

I also use Perplexity for search, and NotebookLM for creating audio notes and slides. There are many more tools and experiences I want to share, but I’ll save that for the next post.
